  Well-built home, Quadrant is a division of Weyerhauser, so they have pretty high quality specifications and construction standards to which they build. Homes are designed not to be the most exciting looking and ncan appear to be a little boxy looking, but the home itself is built very solid. One small indicator is the backyard deck. Many homebuilder use nails and a nail gun to construct the deck. Quadrant uses screws which take longer (more labor time) to install than nails and nail gun, but screws are more than twice as strong as a similar sized nail. It's the little high quality touches that I like about Quadrant. They do not cut corners and stand by their warranty, so I would recommend them as a home builder.

  Poorly built homes and major corners cut. We had inspection before one year warranty was up and main structural support beams were never put in! Appliances were 2nd rate and the dishwasher, stove, and washer all broke - within 5 years. Never have we experienced that before. Three water leaks due to poor workmanship. If you want to see what a ghetto these neighborhoods turn out to be, take a look at Shaunessey at 156th and 35th in the Mill Creek area. Go to the back end of the neighborhood. Embarrasing. Much better off buying an existing home in today's market. Once you sign up for a Quadrant home and pay for every little thing you end up paying a lot more. We were so dissapointed with our home and the neighborhood. The sales office was really good at what they did and we fell for it.
